Directions to our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast

The Inn at Lonesome Hollow is located about 100 miles west and north of Madison, Wisconsin. From Madison take Highway 18 west to Fennimore, then Highway 61 north to Crawford County Road X (about 20 miles north of Boscobel). Go west on County X and proceed 3.5 miles to Vance Road. Turn left on Vance Rd - we are located one half mile from County X at the end of Vance Road. The road construction on Hwy 18 west of Dodgeville has been completed. We suggest the above route as the fastest and the best for night driving.

We suggest this alternate route for those who are willing to take a bit longer (perhaps 15 minutes) and enjoy nicer scenery. From Madison take Hwy 14 west through Spring Green and Richland Center. About 10 miles west of Richland Center pick up Hwy 171 west. Hwy 171 is windy, but the pavement is good and the scenery is excellent. Go west on Hwt 171 to Hwy 61. Go north on Hwy 61 only a few miles and then take County X west for 3.5 miles to Vance Rd. Turn left on Vance Rd - we are located one half mile from County X at the end of Vance Rd.
